IOWF IP Trading Market: Terms & Guidelines
Welcome to the IOWF IP Trading Market, an innovative platform where authors, filmmakers, and fans can engage in a dynamic exchange of "Virtual Rights" tied to exclusive audiovisual content. Below, you’ll find a detailed explanation of how the market operates, its rules, and how to participate.
Market Structure
The IP Trading Market is divided into two phases:
1. Primary Market
-
Eligibility: Only authors of digital content officially selected for IOWF can participate.
-
Virtual Rights Allocation: Authors must allocate at least 50% of their Virtual Rights to join this phase.
-
Playlist Creation: IOWF organizes content into Playlists containing at least 3 episodes or short films. These are evaluated based on technical scores and fan-base metrics.
-
Quota System: Each playlist is divided into a minimum of 3 quotas (one per content) or multiples thereof.
-
Auction Process: Quotas are auctioned with a starting price set by IOWF. Auctions last 24, 48, or 72 hours. Winning bids secure quotas, which are transferred to the buyer’s virtual wallet.
-
Benefits for Quota Holders: Access to exclusive content previews and daily accrual of Virtual Royalties.

2. Secondary Market
-
Eligibility: Open to all participants, including fans and investors.
-
Trading Mechanism: Quotas can be resold or acquired at a minimum price, defined by the lowest winning bid from the Primary Market.
-
Demand-Based Negotiation: If demand exceeds the number of available quotas, top bidders secure the remaining quotas.
-
Royalties: Quota holders continue to earn Virtual Royalties from the playlists, starting the day after the transaction.

Virtual Currency: Virtual Coins
-
Standard Allocation: Entry-level participants receive 100 Virtual Coins.
-
Premium Allocation: VIP or PREMIUM Pass holders receive a minimum of 300 Virtual Coins.
-
Usage: Virtual Coins can be used to bid on quotas and trade within the market.

Key Rules and Guidelines
-
Fair Participation: Auctions in the Primary Market are time-bound and open only to eligible authors.
-
Transparency: All transactions are logged, and playlist quotas are allocated based on clear metrics.
-
No Real-World Claims: Virtual Rights are exclusive to IOWF and do not substitute or transfer real copyrights.
-
Time-Limited Rights: Virtual Rights and royalties are valid only within the specified duration.
-
Responsibility: Participants must ensure compliance with IOWF’s guidelines; disputes are resolved within the festival’s ecosystem.
