IOWF 2019 is an international online film festival at its fifth edition. The festival’s main purpose is to create a contest where shortfilms and webseries can compete with each other and receive the vote of the audience and specialists in filmmaking (bloggers, journalists and producers), with no need of live screening.
All projects submitted will be able to compete at IOWF 2019
and will be judged in two different sections. First one is IOWF season edition (winter-spring and summer) by audience of social networks.
All short films and webseries terminated (or started) from January 2018 to this day can participate in IOWF 2019.
Awards related to the winners of the respective categories will be announced after the closure of entries.
1. RULES & TERMS
SHORTS and WEBSERIES
a) At least one webisode must be under 25 minutes including credits.
b) All short films must be under 25 minutes including credits.
c) Each production submitted will be rated by our judges on a very specific 1-10 scale.
The best productions (shortfilm or webisode) of each category are determined by the highest number of Likes and Favorite or RT obtained by sharing the film/trailer on our official social channels in any given season edition and will be showcased alongside of the Official Selection.
Keep in mind for shortfilm only trailer or extract will be shared.
d) Please note that shortfilm has to be terminated from January 2018 to this day for being eligible to participate in IOWF 2019 and it has NOT to be online available worldwide at the moment of submission.
e) In case of webisodes (or Seasons), they can be already online, but they don't have to be published before June 2017.
f) All the finalists of IOWF 2019 (Season edition) will be announced after the closure of online voting period.
After that period, maximum 30 projects from all continents will be nominated and then they will partecipate at voting period by "Special Jury" (composed by specialists in filmmaking and winners or nominees of the past IOWF editions) for the IOWF awards on 2nd October 2019.
g) Before submitting your film to IOWF 2019 please read carefully and understand the regulations.
Projects submitted must be the original work of the participant, ended not before January 1, 2018.
It is possible to submit more than one project, but every project entails an application fee.
h) All feature films accepted must be from 75 to 120 minutes including credits.
i) Keep in mind this is a new category and only theatrical trailer or extract will be shared on social media accounts.
l) Please note that feature film has to be terminated from January 2016 to this day for being eligible to participate in IOWF 2019 and it has NOT to be online available worldwide at the moment of submission, but it can be already release on theaters.
m) All the feature films finalists of IOWF 2019 will be announced after the closure of online voting period. After that period, maximum 10 productions from all continents will be nominated and then they will partecipate at voting period by "Special Jury" (composed by specialists in filmmaking and winners or nominees of the last IOWF editions) for the IOWF awards on 2nd October 2019 in the "Feature film" Category.
n) Before submitting your film to IOWF 2019 please read carefully and understand the regulations.

2. IOWF 2019 CATEGORY

all films lasting from 1 minute to 25 minutes can participate in this category (credits included).

c) Feature Film:
all films lasting from 75 minutes to 120 minutes can participate in this category (credits included).

d) Projects must be submitted online.
Rates for lodging are not refundable.
e) All decisions regarding the winners are final and irrefutable.
IOWF 2019 reserves the right to make any necessary changes to the expiration date of registration.
f) All films are presented in their original language. Every short/feature film or web series not in english language needs for subtitles in english.
g) By submitting the film to IOWF 2019, you confirm to be the owner of the rights of the film.

3. GENERAL AGREEMENT FOR PARTICIPATION IN IOWF 2019
You have to read and accept the terms and regulations of IOWF 2019. We need your authorization to upload to our official YT channel and screen your webisodes online to compete for the award competition or upload to our official YT channel and screen only the trailer (min. 30" in case of Short Film and min. 1'30" in case of Feature Film) for the award competition.
You have to certify that you hold necessary rights for the presentation of your production submitted in IOWF 2019 and that all rights and permissions have been made. Your film has not to be subject to any litigation nor is threatened by any litigation. By accepting these conditions, You transfer to IOWF 2019 the right to use excerpts of the submitted project, its stills, and trailers, for the purposes of publicity and marketing of the film at the various social networks and on the website www.internationalonlinewebfest.com, and for other non-commercial purposes related to the promotion of the festival. You have to hereby agree to indemnify IOWF 2019, in the event that such rights have not been properly transferred.
